Authorities announce arrest of Cesar Sayoc in connection with 13 mail bombing attemptsThe Department of Justice announced the arrest of 56-year-old Cesar Sayoc in connection with 13 mail bombs sent to prominent Democrats and critics of President Trump. The suspect was arrested in Florida and faces up to 48 years in prison if convicted on the charges, which include transporting explosives across state lines, threatening former presidents and others, illegally mailing explosives, threatening interstate communications and assaulting federal officials.
